Trapped
It was a snowy day and Ben was hiking in the mountains of new Zealand. He had all the gear he needed and he was good to go. So he continued hiking. It was less that 10 degrees. Ben was slightly shaking. He continued walking, but he stopped and looked at his van wondering if he would be able to come back..so he continued walking. 5 minutes later, he came across a pine tree. He walked to it and sat down underneath it. The snow started falling a bit faster, So he was a bit worried about getting hypothermia. Then suddenly he heard a strange sound coming the top of the mountain. He went to check it out, He took a step forward and his foot froze it seconds! He pulled and struggled to get out...but it was no use, his legs were already frozen! He tried so hard to pull himself out, But before he new it...He was inside an ice cube! He tried moving , but he could only move his eyes. He also tried talking but his mouth was long frozen… He was trapped! But suddenly he came up with a great idea! He remembered that his van was at the bottom of the mountain. So he had a great idea! Well….not the greatest. But it was worth it! He was on the side of a cliff. He started making the ice cube rock back and forth a bit. It slowly stared leaning over the and then it started rolling down the mountain! It shot past the pine tree as fast as lightning! The ice cube started cracking...He knew it was going to break! Then he saw his van down at the road. He hit a rock and the ice cube smashed and broke into a million pieces of ice shards. He was free from being trapped! He could finally go home! He said to himself “Oh my god! That was so scary! I can’t believe i’m alive!” Ben was so glad he could go home and get all nice and warm with his fire to cook some rabbit stew in his lodge. So he got in his van and drove off.
